I grew up in Western Colorado watching Cubs games with my grandfather. He loved Harry Carry, Andre Dawson and he hated Cincinnati's Pete Rose. After the Rockies came to town it helped me bond with my dad, since he was a Cardinals fan. My first Rockies memory is of Dante Bichette's homerun in Shea Stadium. I caught Rockies fever when thousands were infected from Eric Young's full count blast to lead off the first home game in Mile High Stadium. I still enjoy watching Rockies games on television, but my favorite way to enjoy a Rockies game is by listening to Jeff Kingery tell me, "It's gone, and it aint comin' back!!"
